Virginia City Montana

For our 7 year anniversary Todd and I went to Virginia City Montana. Its a ghost town/tourist trap. We have been through Virginia City a couple times, one being on our honey moon, and I have always wanted to stay in the Fairweather Inn. The Fairweather Inn was built in 1864 when Virginia City boomed as a gold mining town. The Inn has 17 rooms and we were in room 17 right by the balcony. Only 5 of the rooms have bathrooms in them and we were lucky to get one with a bathroom (Okay not really, I called and made reservations). The Fairweather Inn is said to be haunted but we didn't experiences anything paranormal.
This is the back of the Fairweather Inn. The lonely window on the end is the window to room 10, said to be the most haunted room in the Inn. Nothing tragic happened in this room it was just the old owners favorite room and she is said to haunt it.
On Friday night we went on a ghost tour of the town. We learned a lot of cool history of the town. I took picture of most of the haunted building in the town but writing about them all would make for a long post. But I did have to post a picture of room 10. Funny story, earlier before we went on the ghost tour we were out on the balcony and started talking with another guest staying in the Inn. We started talking about the history of the Inn and found out that he was the lucky one staying in room 10. He joined us on the ghost tour. The next morning we asked him how his night was, he said that it took him about 2 hours to unwind but when he finally did he had a uneventful night.
Happy Anniversary Todd!!
